This bring about trustworthiness and ethical standards in regards to other individuals who may become competitors or rivals and how those people will handle the situation between each other as well as the result for the group and in public settings as professionals.

Paramount to understand how rivalry effects the individuals behaviors and how they treat others. People have different understanding about life and this is influenced primarily from the viewpoints of their professions and experiences. People meet with different people throughout their life and they do change careers over the years. Someone who has been in education in certain area will have better understanding about a subject from that sphere of knowledge while other person who have been working in legal area has a completely different viewpoint because of the different public they have worked with while servicing them. Another person who have been in the public relations specialist area has valuable knowledge from that viewpoint because of their daily work and how they had to handle certain situations while someone who have been working as an art director has different viewpoint again because of their field and knowledge about the subject. Important to recognize that a person who decides to learn about the subject will do their own research too that they can have the opportunity to understand subject to their best abilities. By learning from different people the perspective of the individual will widen and with that they will be able to provide better handling in certain situations.

When we encounter rivalry we need to understand that the individuals in those circumstances handling situations completely differently from other people. These are not normal competitor relationships and there are many intense emotional reactions because of the direct threats they imply or perceive including defensive and aggressive reaction from the fact of wanting to maintain their titles and positions in the industry. Rivalry is deeply personal and it is the decision of the person itself and it is deeply wanting to protect one's ego and it includes the monopolization of the resources and preventing others from thriving in their personal private lives and professional lives. When they perceive a direct threats they will do anything to elicit information from others that are not meant to be known by them because that does not belong to their property and don't have legal authorization to possess those informations. These datums that were gathered are being used for self-defense when they believe their imaginary vision that the other person can create a problem for them. They will try to prevent others from doing actions that can lead to others looking into their internal structures and what they actually do at their work. It does involve shared history for different length of times and there could informations that some party would not want others to know because it would reflect on them severely including revealing shameful activities that already have pattern.

In rivalry the stakes are high for the people involved as well as for those who are around these individuals. Spectators they might see these just a game or contest however for the individuals is way more. The narrative is emotionally charged and tremendously effects one's status in the workplace and society including their reputation and social standings in the community and society. People can think about this is as normal competition but it's not because requires constant one-on-one bond and attention where their identity potentially becomes tangled when trying to win and defeat the other person's. This identity tangling are not happening from accident but the opposing party intentionally using that to plan out their next step. The long term impact of this is unique because of the intense mental pressure that each clash carries and it escalates to extreme level that endangers livelihood of the individuals. This triggers the fight or flight response where the situation becomes damaging even more. The person gets obsessively fixated with the actions of the other and will try to find week points where they can harm the individual including counterattacks and undermining the rival achievements as well as working hard at preventing them from moving forward and focusing on their own life. The rival will become reckless and go public taking unwise risks of smear campaigns just to defeat the other person and the fake gratification of defeating their rivals.

Normal competition for people is looking at objective goals and working on de-escalating the situation while handling any misunderstanding privately by understanding the other person's viewpoint and not understanding their efforts to thrive and be successful in their lives.
